Location

Jacksonville is the major city in Northeast Florida, as well as the county seat of Duvall County. Jacksonville has the largest land area of any city in the United States, and is the insurance and financial capital of the state of Florida. In addition, Jacksonville is home to both a major port and naval bases. Aside from all of the major attractions in downtown Jacksonville, greater Jacksonville is host to a variety of cultural, educational and recreational opportunities, from sports to shopping. Jacksonville also boasts the largest urban park system in the country, linking the city together with natural greenery.
